What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

The main purpose of A Small Victory is to provide CARE (Compassionately Alleviating Regret Everyday) Packages to newly bereaved families. We currently provide CARE Packages free of cost and three other types of packages by donation only.
The CARE (Compassionately Alleviating Regret Everyday) Package is intended for families before, during or immediately following the loss of a child. This package contains several items to help the families bond and memorialize their little one. This is the main package A Small Victory provides and it is made available to Hospitals and Care Centers. It can also be sent overnight to arrive before a funeral date. Hospital and funeral home staff are very well adept to use the items in this package correctly. A Small Victory?s contact information is included if there are any questions about how any why these packages should be used.
Many parents receive very little from the hospitals in which their loss took place. But, after the haze of grief begins to clear, they realize they want more... but it is too late. The afterCARE Package offered by A Small Victory is designed to ease the transition. Created with the idea that knowledge equals strength, the afterCARE Packages provide considerable reading material and support information. There are also a few small keepsakes to remember the child. When requesting assistance after a loss has occurred, you will receive a afterCARE Package for a donation of $75.
The Miscarriage Package is A Small Victory?s newest creation. Intended for use in Hospital Emergency Rooms and Doctor?s Offices, the Miscarriage Package is designed to support parents of even the earliest losses. Miscarriage Packages are currently available for a donation of $25, in limited quantities, to losses which occur during the first trimester of pregnancy. To donate towards the Miscarriage Package project please use designation code: MiscKit.
Thanks to the "PROM Queens" A Small Victory will be offering the Forever Package for a donation of $50 for losses that have occured over six months ago. A Small Victory understands that grief is a life long challenge and that you will never "get over" the loss of your child, therefore the Forever Package was designed with long term grief in mind and is focused of remembrance and hope for future. The Forever Package is also appropriate for any bereaved parent with out consideration to the age or the cause of death of the child the parents are grieving for. To donate to the Forever Package project please use designation code: Forever.
All CARE Packages are designed by bereaved parents. Each item in these packages are chosen with compassion and with a specific intent in mind. Never hesitate to contact A Small Victory if you have any ideas or suggestions.
