What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Spay Memphis will help Memphis be the leader in animal welfare and the ideal pet-friendly community where euthanasia is not necessary because there is a loving and responsible home for every pet. Spay Memphis will continue to offer affordable spay and neuter services to pet owners in the Mid-South until we have helped Memphis be a leading example in animal welfare because spay/neuter is the solution to our pet overpopulation problem.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Providing high-quality, affordable spay and neuter surgeries.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We run and operate a fully-equipped spay/neuter clinic with a trained staff that can handle approximately 40 surgeries daily.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Since 2005, Spay Memphis has helped more than 53,000 animals receive affordable spay and neuter surgery, which has reduced the number of puppies and kittens born in the Mid-South by the millions!
In 2018 alone, Spay Memphis was able to spay/neuter 6,040 pets!
