What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Grace Assistance Program

Through the Grace Assistance Program, we help with food, utility (electric, gas, and water) bills, prescription medication costs, temporary emergency shelter, transportation, clothing, services to the homeless, and back to school clothing and supplies. We also provide information and referrals to other agencies as needed. Our food pantry helps provide food to hungry families. Our clothing closet is available for all family members.  Additional funding is needed to be of greater assistance with utility bills to prevent termination of service and allow the client/family to remain in their home.

Population(s) Served
Economically disadvantaged people
Families

Safe House is a shelter for victims of domestic violence and their minor children. The goal of the shelter is to provide a safe place for victims to heal from the abuse and to explore options available to them.  Space is available to shelter sixteen persons for up to 30 days.  These victims suffer from low self-esteem, sleeping problems, substance abuse, anxiety attacks, and fragile mental and physical health.  During the shelter stay, clients are given specialized case-management, support groups are provided, community resources explored, and children are given the opportunity to participate in a specialized program to formulate an age-appropriate safety plan.

Population(s) Served
