Residential Program
LONG TERM RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT PROGRAM
Synergy’s long term residential substance abuse treatment program is based on a therapeutic community model and uniquely integrates clinical treatment with work therapy. This approach treats the whole person rather than solely treating substance abuse or mental health problem. This approach has proven to be successful as clients return to their families and society as productive citizens and successfully maintain long term sobriety.
Clients receive counseling sessions with qualified staff, individualized treatment plan, group, counseling, 12-step recovery meetings, job skills training, GED and Adult Basic Education, room & board, healthy meals, personal hygiene items, transportation, recreational activities, minor medical, dental, and vision care.
Synergy’s residential program is available to adults 18 years and older who have a primary alcohol or drug addiction. Individuals with secondary co-occurring disorders may be eligible if their mental condition is stabilized. Clients must demonstrate a high motivation to complete the structured program and be able and willing to work at a designated job in exchange for their room, board, and clinical treatment.
Application Process
The prospective client shall submit a written letter in their own writing indicating their desire to enroll into Synergy’s long-term (one-year) residential treatment program. The letter should describe the drug / alcohol problem and history, legal and criminal history, medical and psychiatric history, family history of substance abuse, why long term treatment is desired, and contact information.
Transitional Program
TRANSITIONAL SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
Synergy’s Transitional Housing Centers provide housing and supportive services to individuals who have successfully completed a treatment program and are integrating back into society as sober and productive citizens but lack the resources to obtain permanent housing. The program provides a suitable living environment and supportive services that include counseling and case management, employment services, budgeting and money management, and assistance with obtaining permanent housing.
