B) Election of New Officers 2023
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
1. Fundraising Goals are very realistic as long as the Pandemic numbers stay down! Safety is WC DART Association’s priority. The Team must be on call for the Emergency Management Agency and cannot risk illness from public appearances. With that being said, under normal conditions the Team will host fundraising events partnered with a local business, such as Photos with Santa and Dog Washes throughout the Summer Months. Public appearances for other Animal Organizations, and Online Fundraising.
2. The Team is willing and able to make public appearances, getting our name out in the community.
3. Finding quality, business minded people to help grow the WC DART Association

- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
