Deer Run Family Retreats

Deer Run Family Retreats strengthen family relationships  by providing  organized experiences and adventures that promote connection, conversation, and memory making moments! Families build strong bonds when they problem solve and accomplish a task together. Deer Run offers Marriage, Parent/Child, and Family Retreat weekends as a ministry to families searching for a deeper connection and purpose in world of day to day distractions.

Adults

Deer Run is a traditional, nondenominational Christian camp where everyday distractions are removed, enabling campers to discover their strengths, explore adventures, forge friendships, and meet challenges. Passionate staff and counselors lead campers to grow in their faith, character, and leadership ability on one hundred acres of scenic wooded property. The staff-to-camper ratio is higher than required camp standards to allow closer supervision, deeper relationships, and a more powerful camp experience. Day Camp: Campers, Kindergarten to 6th grade, enjoy lake activities, archery, creek wading, and other outdoor adventures, while also participating in interactive small group Bible studies. Overnight Camp: Overnight campers are divided into two groups: 3rd-5th grade and 6th-10th grade.  Overnight options include a one week 5-night session or a two week 12-night session.  Campers enjoy lake and outdoor activities, games, worship, and age appropriate, small group Bible studies.

Deer Run created the Mission 42:1 Scholarship Program based on the strong conviction that all children and families should be offered the place and time to rest, reflect, and strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ.  The Mission 42:1 Scholarship offers assistance to those campers and families who are facing financial, spiritual, or emotional challenges.  These scholarships are made possible through the prayers and donations from Deer Run champions, including donors, volunteers, and staff, and are not derived from user fees from camp/retreat programs.
