Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Wildlife Sanctuary
National Wildlife Humane Society's primary program is the wildlife rescue and sanctuary. To maintain the wildlife that is rescued in a safe and comfortable environment. As a Humane Society for wildlife, we endeavor to either provide rescue at our facility, or if no space is available, seek out shelter at other facilities. We have plentiful access to free and/or low cost feed and no salaried personnel, but we can always use financial assistance in expansion and upkeeNo Sell, No Breed, No Exhibition. The wildlife here are NOT used for any commercial exploitation whatsoever.
NWHS Conservation Field Allies
NWHS assists numerous conservation organizations working in the field in remote wild places around the world. These field allies work in wildlife research, preservation and protection. Field allies also interface with the indigenous people in these remote wild habitats to educate and provide a better quality of life to lessen the impact between humans and wildlife. Please explore our allies specific information pages at our NWHS website.
