Decatur Morgan Counseling Center
The Decatur Morgan Counseling Center is an outpatient psychiatric clinic which offers a wide range of psychiatric, psychological and counseling services for persons living in Morgan County. In 2017 DMCC provided critical treatment services for 911 adults.
Moulton Lawrence Counseling Center
MLCC is an outpatient psychiatric clinic which offers a wide range of psychiatric, psychological and counseling services for persons living in Lawrence County. In 2017 MLCC provided critical treatment services for 583 children and adults.
Athens Limestone Counseling Center
ALCC is an outpatient psychiatric clinic which offers a wide range of psychiatric, psychological and counseling services for persons living in Limestone County. In 2017 ALCC provided critical treatment services for 1,257 children and adults.
The Albany Clinic for Children
CTAC provides an encompassing array of outpatient services for children. During 2017 CTAC provided critical treatment services for 767 children and adults.
Options
Options provides services directly to residents, family members and nursing home staff to better equip them to assist elderly persons who suffer from mental illness. During 2017 Options provided treatment services for 222 adults.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our mission is to provide the highest quality treatment, education and assistance to people affected by mental health and substance use issues.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Services provided by the Mental Health Center include psychiatric assessment, medication prescription, outpatient counseling, case management, housing, transportation, alcohol and other drug prevention\ education and other services that serve the mental health needs of the north central Alabama community.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama, Inc. is a public, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has provided psychiatric and mental health services to Lawrence, Limestone, and Morgan counties, Alabama since 1967. The Center employs over 160 staff including 5 psychiatrist, nurses, over three dozen master's level therapists and a host of support personnel.
To meet the mental health needs of the community, the Mental Health Center maintains a small fleet of vehicles used to transporting clients; maintains 5 housing programs, provides outpatient clinics in each of the counties is serves, provides on-site clinicians at all public schools, provided teams on in-home clinicians, and numerous other services to reach the community. Last year the Center provided life changing services for almost 4,000 children and adults in north central Alabama.
