What we aim to solve New!

To share Jesus with a lost and dying world. The world has a sin problem and Jesus is the only cure. We are making disciples (followers of Jesus) and training them how to make disciples so the Gospel will spread. Through sharing the love of Jesus, we are helping to meet the physical needs of the homeless and those living in poverty in our hometown of Dothan, Alabama. We are helping to bring the homeless off the streets to live a productive life in society Overseas, we are proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to unreached people groups ... people who have never heard the Gospel. We are also helping to take care of orphans, provide food for hungry children, build schools and provide teachers where children have no hope of an education, building churches, starting home churches, sponsoring indigenous pastors, and providing clean, safe drinking water for people who have no access to it.

To spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the U.S. and throughout the world. In Dothan, Alabama: - To provide for physical needs of the homeless and those living in poverty in Dothan, Alabama. - To encourage the homeless and help them come off the streets and live normal, productive lives. In Third World/Developing Nations: - To support indigenous pastors in Third World/Developing countries. - Build schools for children who have no hope at receiving an education. - Build churches/start home churches - Provide food for malnourished. - Provide clean, safe drinking water

In Dothan, Alabama, we work with volunteers from churches throughout the region to provide the help necessary to help the homeless and needy. Local businesses work with us as well. We also work with other local non-profits to help solve homelessness in Dothan, Alabama. In Third World/Developing nations, we work with indigenous pastors who best understand the culture, the needs and how to meet those needs. We make the needs known here in the U.S. and ask for help.

Love In Action is known throughout the U.S. and in six countries. God has woven together a great group of volunteers and financial supporters.

By seeing people give their lives to Jesus. By seeing the homeless come off the streets. By seeing children receive an education and start to break the cycle of poverty in their villages, towns and cities. To see children no longer malnourished or people lacking fresh drinking water in areas where we work with indigenous pastors.

We have helped many homeless people come off the streets. We have started building schools in Philippines and Pakistan. We also sponsor children's scholarships to attend school in the Philippines. We have built and started more than 100 churches/home churches in Philippines. We sponsor a small Christian college and two churches in Myanmar. We have provided fresh water in India and helping to do the same in Haiti. We plan to meet more needs of children who are malnourished in the areas around the world where we work with indigenous pastors. We plan to provide more fresh water for the people in those third world areas. In home, we plan to expand our food ministry.

This section is a voluntary questionnaire that empowers organizations to share information on the demographics of who works in and leads organizations. To protect the identity of individuals, we do not display sexual orientation or disability information for organizations with fewer than 15 staff. Any values displayed in this section are percentages of the total number of individuals in each category (e.g. 20% of all Board members for X organization are female).
