What we aim to solve
First, we support our hospital, Magnolia Regional Health Center, with monetary or other needs for the continuation of excellent care for our communities. The challenges of the healthcare industry and community hospitals in rural USA are huge. We want to stand to support those gaps to be part of the solution to a better health and quality of life for our patients and their families.

Education about the prevention and treatments of breast cancer.
Tribute Garden at the Cancer Center at Magnolia
Offering a way to honor or memorialize someone in a permanent garden with brick pavers, benches, trees, fountains, etc.

What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
1. Own real estate for the use and benefit of MRHC.
2. 3. Support & administer the MRHC Employee Emergency Assistance Program.
4. Continue patient transportation support at the Cancer Center at Magnolia.
5. Support & administer the MRHC Recruitment and Engagement Fund.
6. Offer support to MRHC for hospital facility renovations and capital needs.
7. Offer support to MRHC for outpatient behavioral health needs.
8. Support physician recruitment needs.
9. Support the MRHC GME program.
10. Support MRHC with growth initiatives for the secondary service area.
11. Create a culture of wellness within the MRHC walls and also within the MRHC service areas.
12. Alignment with other local charities with similar Mission to promote local philanthropy for the good of our communities.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
1. Fundraising through major gifts, fundraising events and programs.
2. Apply for grants applicable with MRHC's focus areas.
3. Continue current investment strategy.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
1. Ownership of a total of 9 parcels of real estate for the use and benefit of MRHC.
2. To date in total we have raised over $640,000 towards our capital campaign - raising funds for the construction of a health education center on our hospital's main campus. This campaign ended October, 2021.
