Student Outreach Services

All Four One’s Student Outreach Services Program is designed to create opportunities to enhance and develop student academic preparedness, comprehension, ability to solve problems, and personal growth and development and to transition individuals into community assets where they were previously community liabilities. Our program includes:

•Academic Preparation & Study Skills
•Academic Advising and Intervention
•Tutoring
Mentoring
•Self-Development and Self Esteem
•Career Assessment & Exploration
•Financial Literacy
•College/Career/Life Readiness
Leadership Training

Population(s) Served

The Youth Council Roundtable is an aspect of our program designed to give students an opportunity to have and open dialogue dealing with social diversity, economics, education, employment, and recreational programs while learning about various aspects of our community. It includes career options, leadership roles, governmental and law enforcement operations, environmental issues, and how to be heard by elected officials when dealing with important issues. They make decisions with community leaders that impact change and improvement in the community.

In this workshop, school leaders will learn how to:

•Identify students who are at-risk to drop out
•Help over-age and under-credited students succeed and graduate
•Create a warm, inviting, personalized school environment
•Construct early interventions to re-engage failing students
•Improve attendance
•Decrease suspensions
•Reduce office referrals
•Foster a school culture that makes student success an expectation

Population(s) Served

All Four One Detroit has team up with The President’s Challenge promoting lifelong wellness. Our team is committed to improving City of Detroit resident’s access to healthy food choices, physical activity and education to reduce childhood obesity rates. The Shape Up! Program provide physical fitness aid to people of all ages and abilities to increase their ability to become physically active and improve fitness. Since its founding in 2011 the program has grown to include these challenges

Population(s) Served

Brightest Star Program mentors, donors, families, advocates and supporters work hard to encourage and support today's children. When those children believe in themselves and what they can accomplish, they'll enjoy better relationships with their friends, families, and peers and help to create safer, stronger communities.
