What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Food and Hygiene Pantry
CHAPS operates a pantry which provides supplemental food and hygiene supplies at no cost to persons in need living with HIV/AIDS and their dependents. CHAPS is a "choice" pantry that allows clients to select food items that best suit their changing dietary needs. Hygienic products, which are vital to an individual with a compromised immune system, can NOT be purchased with Food Stamps. These products provide personal care as well as help to maintain a sanitary living environment for the clients and their families. The food and hygiene items we supply, assist our clients by helping to keep them nourished and better able to fight off infections and by helping to keep their environment clean and safe. By providing these items, program clients are able to use their limited funds to purchase medications and other essential items that meet the most basic quality of life needs.
