What we aim to solve

QUALITY GARDEN SEED TO A HUNGRY WORLD! The Earth's population continues to increase while arable land for food production does not. We must improve the capabilities of people to grow their own vegetables for nutrition and good health. There are many great ways to grow quality nutrition... limited only by the sharing of knowledge and access to quality seed.

Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Hope Seeds International

Hope Seeds has been serving the needs of hungry people in many countries for 16+ years, and the gift of seed has been the primary outreach tool. What one may not see or realize is that the seed we send to people also allows us to serve in many other capacities, especially with partner ministries. The problem of world hunger is indeed like a Mountain which needs to be moved, and it can be moved just as the proverb states… each day stones are moved, starting today. Seed is the first of many steps to solving world hunger… water, health, education, and spiritual growth are all steps, or stones, which can be moved toward moving the Mountain called hunger. The support you give to Hope Seeds helps move the Mountain. There are many stones to be moved in the days ahead, and the Mountain can be moved.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Providing a Christian Witness \r\nTurning seed into food \r\nFeeding the whole person \r\nHelping people to help themselves \r\nOffering long-term and sustainable solutions \r\nProvide seed, training, and encouragements

Hope Seeds, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to ministering to the poor of the world in name of our Lord Jesus Christ. This ministry focuses on providing garden seeds and education in gardening to allow those living in poverty to improve their diets through growing nutritious fruits and vegetables. Hope Seeds does this by partnering with missionaries, mission teams, relief agencies, and national self-help groups in underdeveloped and developing nations. Seed distribution is partnered with the gospel message to meet both physical and spiritual needs of those living in poverty.

Vegetable seed is an important and deeply appreciated essential for sustainable nutrition… a resource not readily available or affordable in the countries we serve.  Most shipments are distributed by missionaries, pastors and mission teams and the remainder by agricultural relief organizations.  The Message of Hope tract is included so the Good News of Christ may be shared with each packet of seed delivered.

During the last 17 years of operation, 10,000,000 packets of seed to 60 countries were distributed Your generous support is appreciated! We invite you to visit our website at hopeseeds.org to learn more.
