Expanding the Miracle League

The Miracle League's mission is to provide opportunities for all children to play baseball regardless of their ability. For over 10 years, the Miracle League Association has made it possible for children all over the country with physical and mental disabilities to achieve the same dream as their healthy peers - to play ball.

The field is complete with a cushioned synthetic turf to help prevent injuries, wheelchair accessible dugouts, and a completely flat surface to eliminate any barriers to the wheelchair bound or visually impaired players. The Miracle League is a non-profit (501) c (3) organization.

The rules of league play are simple:

Every player bats once each inning
All base runners are safe
Every player scores a run before the inning is over (last one up gets a home run)
Each team and each player wins every game
Community children and volunteers serve as "buddies" to assist the players

Dear Potential Sponsor,
As our Baseball Season approaches, I wanted to reflect on the amazing accomplishments
that The Miracle League of Palm Beach County has achieved over the years. Serving over 150
players, our league remains ‘fee-free’ for all participants. In addition, The Miracle League
successfully fundraised for and broke ground on Boundless Dreams, Delray Beach’s first
barrier-free, handicap accessible playground which has garnered media attention and
increased traffic to Robert Miller Park and our organization.
I am aware you are already a sponsor of the standard Miracle League, but I am contacting you now to see if you would be willing to sponsor a new sect of The Miracle League of
Palm Beach County for 2018. Miracle League Legends. Miracle League Legends AKA an Adult Miracle League is for those with physical or mental disabilities over the age of 18/21 to play, with the same rules of the standard league. It is not fair/safe for anybody to have four-year-olds playing with full-grown adults, which is why this idea was first established. This league will begin the night of Wednesday, April 11 and run the following three weeks, at the same time.
Attached please find the sponsorship levels for your review and the potential benefits of your contribution. I hope that we can count on your support.
Whether swinging the bat, running the bases, playing in the outfield, cheering from the
dugout, clapping in the bleachers, coaching from the sidelines, serving food at the
concession stand, or organizing outreach, The Miracle League of Palm Beach County is a
grassroots effort that runs on the power and passion of its players, volunteers, and
community sponsors like you.
