Our programs

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Rescue

Dedicated to rescuing stray animals (primarily dogs), providing emergency assistance and veterinary care.

Population(s) Served
Adults

When rescued animals have health or behavioral problems, TLC undertakes the task of rehabilitation with the ultimate goal of getting these animals ready for permanent placement with a new family.

Population(s) Served
Adults

After the animals are rescued and rehabilitated, our fosters come into play to provide temporary homes while we find the perfect place for them to start their new lives

Population(s) Served
Adults

Because adoption chances for dogs in Puerto Rico are vely low (approximately 3%), Once the animals are ready for adoption, we air transport them to cities across the U.S. in order to help them find new families. This is done through partners in the form of shelters or fosters.
