Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?

Our ultimate goal is to stop suicide. While a near impossible goal, we do have a focus to educate, and empower students while eliminating the stigma that has become attached with mental health services and the need for them.

Education is key in this goal. We get the latest data and statistics to the teens as well as information on the latest medical and social advancements towards our goal.

Teens are a powerful group in our society. They are engaged, and when given the opportunity, take a stand to spread awareness and prevent lives of their peers and family members from being lost.

We are unlike most organizations of knowing our success rate. However, we measure that by the percentage of students at each school who participate in the Keeper Club as well as the number of students we assist to getting to mental health resources in their community.

We have successfully met our year 6 goal (within first year of existence) for Keeper Club implementation. We have impacted a Tennessee legislator, who will be introducing new legislation this year for suicide prevention training and tools in all schools. We have been made aware of 12 teen lives we have saved with direct contact from the teen or their family. We have hosted International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day in 2 geographical locations 2 years in a row. We provide Life Saver Cards to all students and organizations we come in contact with to insure resources are in the hands of the students. We have advanced into 5 states and 1 US Territory. This was all done in 16 months.
