What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Our strong belief in and commitment to children and their families has sustained us and allowed us to grow and evolve. PSP programs have spread to eight states and operate in more than 600 childcare centers, Head Start programs, family childcare homes and schools. As a major force in the family support movement, we educate policymakers, legislators and funders about the impact of family support and promote policy changes that benefit children and families. In addition to replicating our approach nationally in early care and education settings serving young children and their families, PSP's public education, training and technical assistance programs serve as a resource to a wide arena of people and programs. PSP's staff and team consultants offer a continuum of services to communities. From workshops to conferences, consultation to long-term tailored technical assistance relationships, PSP supports the intentional efforts necessary to engage individuals to become involved, to dream and dialogue together, and to organize and act together with purpose. Whether we work with others to improve the life of one program, one family, or even one child, we recognize our interconnectedness and pass that belief onto the next generation.
