What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

The American Bach Soloists present an annual subscription series of five programs of works from the Baroque era performed in venues throughout Northern California. In addition, ABS presents SummerFest, a nine-day chamber music festival, each July. Education outreach include their Tickets for the Schools program and open rehearals, as well as free lectures prior to each performance. Under the direction of Music Director Jeffrey Thomas, the ensemble has achieved it's goal of assembling the world's finest vocalists and period-instrument players to bring this brilliant music to life. ABS holds its Henry I. Goldberg and American Bach Soloists International Young Artists Competition every other June. The ensemble has a discography of nearly 15 titles released on the Kock International Classics and Delos International labels, as well as through online sites such as Magnatune.com and iTunes.
