Mission

Building on the purposes, rituals, and values established by our founding fathers, the mission of Sigma Phi Rho Fraternity are to provide positive fraternal experiences that support the development and growth of its members and to contribute to our communities through service. Since its founding, Sigma Phi Rho has valued brotherhood, ethical behavior, character development, academic achievement, service, loyalty, and multiculturalism. Sigma Phi Rho members recognize their potential to truly become agents of change in their community--be it their campus, nation, or abroad. In order to ensure our members are world-ready, we seek to enhance the potential of collegiate men through leadership experiences, civic engagement, and professional development.

Sons of the Chariot

Son’s of the Chariot (S.O.C) is the nationally recognized youth-based auxiliary supported by Graduate/Alumni Chapters of Sigma Phi Rho Fraternity, Inc. The S.O.C was developed to aid adolescent males in their transition to manhood, and is assisted by members of the fraternity, as they reach the many milestones experienced in a young boys life. S.O.C benefits from mentoring relationships from Sigma Phi Rho Fraternity, Inc., and receives direct guidance on issues related to leadership development, character enrichment, and scholastic engagement.
