What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Mercy Multiplied equips people to live free and stay free through Jesus Christ. Our residential counseling program helps young women ages 13–32 break free from life controlling issues and situations, including anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, addictions, unplanned pregnancy, and sex trafficking. The residential program is voluntary, biblically based, and completely free of charge. Our goal is to help residents permanently stop destructive cycles, discover purpose for their lives, and experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power. Our Outreach services train and resource Christian leaders and helpers to effectively minister to those who are hurting. We offer a wide range of life-transforming workshops, discipleship resources, videos, podcasts, and other practical tools. Our goal is to share the life transforming principles used in our residential program to empower men and women of all ages to live in freedom.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Mercy Multiplied values every person's life and believes in his or her future. Young women come to a Mercy residence because they are desperate to fill the emptiness in their lives that the world has failed to satisfy. God calls Mercy to respond to this need by providing a safe, Christ-centered program free of charge that allows young women the ability to find and embrace hope for the future. For those unable to enter a Mercy home, Mercy provides resources to churches, groups, and individuals to equip the journey of freedom. By accepting Christ's love and forgiveness, those who commit to a Mercy program are freed from past circumstances and equipped to take hope out into the world.

Residential
The Mercy Multiplied program incorporates Christian principles and teachings coupled with proven methods and counseling to serve a diverse population of young women from across the United States. Mercy is completely free of charge to the young women they serve. Many of the girls who seek help from Mercy are facing a combination of debilitating circumstances and have been in various treatment facilities with unsuccessful long-term results. Mercy is committed to providing the young women they serve with excellent program services that allow them to recognize their self-worth and prepare them to reach their full potential. Through the application of God's unconditional love, Mercy's approach to healing allows young women to permanently stop destructive cycles and prepares them to take hope out into their communities.

Outreach
The outreach aspect of Mercy Multiplied exists to equip people with biblically-based tools and training that lead to lifelong freedom. The foundation of the Mercy outreach effort incorporates primary elements of the Mercy program. These freedom principles are taken outside the walls of Mercy homes to reach those in need of the hope-filled and life-transforming message of the Gospel. Individuals are encouraged to find the “me" in “Mercy" and spread the message of hope to their circle of influence, thus multiplying the reach of Mercy Multiplied.

Mercy has properly credentialed, professional staff members who work directly with the young women in the Mercy homes and who work in program support services. Mercy has developed a counseling curriculum from over three decades of experience that combines Biblical principles of healing and unconditional love with best-practice clinical interventions. This counseling curriculum is called “Choices that Bring Change" and includes seven key components; Commitment to Christ, Choosing to Forgive, Renewing the Mind, Generational Patterns, Healing Life Hurts, Freedom From Oppression, and Principles for Life-long Success. The program and the counseling model are successful because they empower the resident to identify issues, take responsibility for her choices and to move forward.

Mercy Multiplied has accomplished an astounding level of growth and impact since 1983. Thousands of young women have been given food, shelter, education and Biblical counseling. But more importantly, thousands of lives have been saved through the work of Mercy Multiplied. Young women have found lasting hope and freedom from life-controlling issues and are now making an impact in their individual communities and spheres of influence.

Mercy Multiplied recognizes that there is always room for continued growth and improvement and in doing so, hopes to accomplish much more in the years and decades to come. Mercy Multiplied would like to open a new home in the state of Florida, expand their circle of influence through stronger church partnerships, expand outreach efforts, and see thousands more young women walk in freedom with their lives transformed and their hope restored.
