Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

Child Advocacy Services Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) recruits, trains, and supervises volunteer advocates to serve as a voices for children as they navigate through our judicial system. CASAs are community members appointed by a judge to advocate for children in need of care or in a temporary residential placement. A CASA stands beside the child with the primary goal of helping them reach a safe and permanent home. A CASA Volunteer is an adult resource for the child’s best interest and an uncompensated-unbiased resource for the child. Child Advocacy Services proudly serves children and families in Ascension, Assumption, East Feliciana, Livingston, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John, Tangipahoa, and West Feliciana Parishes in Southeast Louisiana.
