What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our organizations goal is to recruit, screen, train and support additional community volunteers to serve additional children in our communities.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We seek avenues to get the volunteer opportunity out in front of people in our communities. Some examples of how we do this: speaking at social club meetings, attending community events, seeking out advertising, and hosting information sessions.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our organization has an active board and a committed staff who believe in our mission.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
So far our organization has recruited more volunteers this year than last year. It is an ongoing cycle when a case closes the volunteer may not want to take another case due to the nature of the volunteer work.
