Torah Health and Fitness
Torah Health and Fitness (THAF) is an educational program on the Torah perspective on the body, health, food and exercise. Its curriculum consists of 52 nuggets of Torah wisdom covering 2,000 years,, supplemented with evidence-based medical knowledge, organized, translated and explained in order to enable a layperson to study or lead a group in studying, internalizing and living closer to the Torah’s ideal in terms of how we treat our bodies. Since most people struggle to change habits on their own, THAF is organizing and promoting groups in Jewish communities around the world to study the materials weekly and to give each other chizuk toward changing habits.
