What we aim to solve
Many of the families we serve are not eating a nutritious diet , that fosters better health, better quality of life and allows children to do better in school. Another problem we address is for people that are underemployed, they live & work in Riverside County where rents are high , wages are low, mass transportation is difficult. Riverside County is not a place that you can walk to many good paying job. We see many families caught paying there bills, paying for housing or prescriptions, many can not do it all. Seniors Citizens have a very difficult time in affording quality groceries, as well as single parents. We also provide Holiday gifts for the children, but we do not have the kids come in we serve the parents or guardians, they get to pick the gifts they want for their children. We are always tying to show respect to our recipients. All of our groceries are also given Farmers Market Style to enhance the quality of items given and to respect the needs of the families

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We are aiming to accomplish better nutrition, by distribution of organic food items such as produce, dairy & meat. Another accomplishment we are aiming for giving hope to the hopeless. When we get to give a person some necessity that they really need it brings a sense of hope, that someone cares and it makes a big difference in how they see their circumstances. We also have other nonprofits come to our distribution locations to provide free dental services, free cell phones, talk about County Services that are avaible, anything from rental assistance to free repairs for their homes. We also help for the Holidays with gifts., this help tremendously as it really makes the families hopeful and happy.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategies for making this happen are very simple keep doing what we do day after day, being in relationship with the families we serve, get to know their story, matching them up with other resources. Providing other items like beds & pots & other necessities that really show someone you care and you want them to get up & out of the situation.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Currently we serve about 800 families per week, distributing over 1 million pounds of product each year for the last several years. all our resources are donated to Circle of Care, our administrative cost are about 2%. We have about 50 volunteers, 7 distribution sites to better serve families that have transportation issues. We are continually aggressively looking for procurement opportunities. We also share our resources with other nonprofits to help them have a more rounded selection of product to distribute to their recipients.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
So far in the last 20 yars we have accomplished serving over 800 families each week, we distribted gifts to about 2100 chikdren for several Hoiidat Season now and have a good amount of resources. We have some of the equipment we need to make sure we are able to receive & distribute product,
