Youth & Adult Counseling

LifeWorks is one of the largest providers of low/no cost mental health counseling services in Central Texas. Our programs include:  

youth & adult mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and domestic violence diversion, youth psychiatric services, universal child abuse prevention;

Population(s) Served

LifeWorks creates generational change by providing preventative and support programs for youth. Services include: 

parenting education and training for teen parents, teen pregnancy prevention, in-school and after-school enrichment, in-school social and emitonal learning programs, summer therapeutic day camps;

LifeWorks believes that every youth deserves at least one adult who is unconditionally devoted to his/her success.  Our housing programs provide a supportive continuum of services that lead form life on the streets to self-sufficiency.  Progams include:   
Street Outreach, Emergency Shelter, Transitional Living Program, and Supportive Housing for homeless youth and young adults ages 12 - 20; as well as a Young Moms & Babies Shelter program.

Population(s) Served

LifeWorks  is addressing the root causes of poverty and providing services to help youth and families create a better lives for themselves. Programs include: 
GED instruction, Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language, foster care youth life skill training and pre-employment services, workforce development training and young fathers engagement.
