What is the organization aiming to accomplish?

What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?

What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?

How will they know if they are making progress?

What have and haven't they accomplished so far?

In 2018, we adopted a three year strategic plan that serves as a roadmap through 2021. Key elements include specific 6 month, one year and three year goals for each of the following topics: Public Relations, Data, Metrics & Measurement, Community Engagement, Public School Advocacy, Grants, Engaging Donors beyond the dollar, Board Training Prospective Donors and Financial framework.

We set specific goals for each topic so that there is an attainable goal and a clear measuring stick for whether we meet that goal. We designated which committee should take the lead on every item, so there is accountability and clear leadership.

A portion of each full board meeting is devoted to our strategic plan so we receive updates in the progress. Ultimately, the Executive Committee is responsible for ensuring that each goal is reached.

We will reach the percentage increase we've set as a goal in our revenue and investment funds. We will also be tracking the attendance and engagement number of our Board of Directors, Volunteers and Community Members.

Our past year's highlights include: -38% increase in Innovative grants awarded from previous year -28% increase in Investment transfers -New logo and website to match our mission of supporting innovation -$122,384 in designated giving was generated in addition to our innovative grants
