Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The Winston School San Antonio has two primary goals: To provide a personalized education to students with learning differences, and to act as a resource on learning differences for the greater San Antonio area.

The Winston School San Antonio accomplishes our goal of providing a personalized education through the recruitment of exceptional faculty and administration members, by maintaining small class sizes, and by using adapted teacher strategies for each child.

To accomplish the goal of becoming a resource for the community, The Winston School San Antonio hosts a variety of outreach events throughout the year. These events are geared toward educators, parents, healthcare professionals, and counselors, and are focused on disseminating information and providing the tools needed to foster the success of students with learning differences.

Due to the successes of our faculty, the investment of our families, and the generosity of our community partners, The Winston School San Antonio has the capability to meet the above-stated goals. However, to further meet the individual and creative needs of our students, and to expand our outreach efforts to positively impact a broader population in our community, we are planning an expansion of our facilities.

At The Winston School San Antonio, we have succeeded in establishing an educational program that effectively serves a disadvantaged population of students. Our students come to us broken down by traditional education settings, but at Winston they thrive. Additionally, we have accomplished our goal of becoming a unique and necessary community resource. We have developed relationships with institutions, corporations, and families throughout the community.

However, there is still work to be done. We must continue to increase the scope of our tuition assistance program, so that we can best represent the demographics of San Antonio, We must also expand our campus to include the planned fine arts facility. Many students with learning differences excel in the arts, and we owe them the opportunity to expand upon their talents. As we look to the future, we see great, continued accomplishments on our horizon.
