What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Our organization is working to address those underserved families with children who may not have access to quality education, are lacking in basic necessities such as food and clothing, and who need insightful leaders to look up to when their parents are away at work. We aid these children in reaching their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens of society.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

One of our main goals is to continue to fulfill our mission. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

One of our strategies consist of staying true to our core values. That core value is to provide a safe, positive place and have a significant impact on children's lives; and to uphold high ethical standards in all areas, especially in overseeing our finances; reporting data and community outreach; being good stewards of the donor dollar; and representing ourselves to the public.

Here at the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas we believe we can accomplish all our goals by keeping them at priority number one. The children are the future and we know and understand this. We provide them with a safe place to learn and grow. We give them ongoing relationships with caring, adult professional. We have life-enhancing programs and character development experiences. We give these children hope and opportunity daily.

Today, thousands of boys and girls from low-income neighborhoods benefit from the building-centered programs and services designed specifically for them at local Clubs. Our programs provide strong moral guidance, positive role models and life-changing educational programs designed to save kids from lives of crime and failure. Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas is an organization that stands for traditional values, while providing progressive programs that address the problems faced by the youth of today. We will continue to help these children as this is something that never stops. We will continue to do so for many generations to come.
