Program 1
Consumer/organizational workshops: Workshops provided for 250 attendees with results measured in 2008 of $16,810 in savings, 4,248 KWhr electricity conserved, 145 CCF home fuel conserved, 18,000 lbs CO2 eliminated, 156,000 gallons water conserved, 36,734 lbs solid waste reduced
Program 2
Home energy and water retrofits for low income home-owners (1house at a time program): Provided home energy/water retrofits for low-income home-owners in Austin, Texas. Conducted 2 home energy/water efficiency retrofits and 1 solar photovoltaic installation. 29 volunteers trained.
Program 3
Capacity building: Training state/federal/local government & non-profits in reducing environmental impacts. Results include four pollution prevention training assessments with $120,000 saved; and reductions of 33,000 lbs of hazardous waste, 2,000 lbs medical waste, and 125 tons CO2, etc.
