Pet Adoptions and Rescues

This program aims at adopting as many stray, homeless, & unwanted cats & dogs as possible from within Bandera County. Each pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated & micro-chipped before adoption. All dogs are tested for heartworms & treated if needed.  All cats are tested for feline leukemia.  All sick or injured animals are treated before being put up for adoption. Most pets can listed on our web site at http://www.ccpal.petfinder.com.

We publicize our dogs and cats across social media. We adopt locally as well as are working with other transport organizations to get animals adopted in the NW, NE and areas of the Midwest.

We work with staff and volunteers to coordinate our efforts and get the word out to help as many pets get adopted as possible.

The numbers of pets adopted has risen significantly with the new transport partnership.
Since starting out of state adoptions we have had 593 pets adopted.
We are looking to grow our online presence and work with volunteer fosters to so we can rescue as many pets as possible.
