What we aim to solve
The main need we strive to address is the education, entertainment and growth of the members of our community. Being a very small town with little tax base, "extras" like our library are not something the city could support. This foundation plays an integral part of filling in the spots where our small, rural school district lacks funding for important educational opportunities - mostly through grants and outside funding, assisting people with out basics such as internet connections, cable tv and other items most people take for granted to be able to reach the outside world and continue to grow as valuable.
Currently we are working on a capital campaign to help restore, repair and improve our aging building and infrastructure. Our 1895 buildings need repair to enable us to continue to serve this community far into the future.
