Mission

With a vision of access to the arts for all, our mission is to provide artistic, cultural, and educational opportunities to improve the quality of life in our communities.

Notes from the nonprofit

We have added a program entitled Art on Wheels where we take art classes to senior citizens centers and also for persons with developmental disabilities. We have also added a completely free week of Summer Arts Camp for the children at the Community Enrichment Center.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Community Arts Program

The Arts Council's programs include Community Arts Program, which provides scholarships for under-served children in our Summer Arts College for kids 6-16 and Art on Wheels which provides art classes at senior citizens centers and for developmentally challenged adults in the North Texas SNAP program. Matching Grants program, and arts classes for adults and children in the fall and spring.

Population(s) Served

Arts Council Northeast partners with numerous cities in North Tarrant County and Southern Denton County to foster civic engagement through arts and culture. Our MasterWorks Concert Series does just that by offering FREE concerts to these communities. Arts and music lovers from age 2 to 102 have the opportunity to enjoy over 85 concerts each year.
