What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Hospice Services
Upon admission, our interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, home health aides, social worker, counselors, therapists, chaplains, and volunteers develops an individualized plan of care which guides our services. Daily and weekly updates as well as weekly formal reviews assure the patient/family that needed services are delivered and are responsive to the disease progression.
Camp Brave Heart
The purpose of Camp Brave Heart is to offer a safe environment for children to work through their emotions of grief following the death of a loved one. Camps are offered opened to the community for children ages 6-12 during the summer in Mt Pleasant, Sulphur Springs, and Paris. Camp Brave Heart is comprised of Cypress Basin Hospice staff and community volunteers that assist in productive grief activities and fellowship to encourage the campers to build a healthy foundation of growth through their bereavement. Cypress Basin Hospice believes healthy kids create healthy communities and our Camp Brave Heart focuses on empowering those kids with the emotional tools they need to be a healthy part of their community. We want our campers to be active members of their schools and communities, and we believe giving these children access to a safe environment to work through their emotions at a younger age will give them the capacity to work through the inevitable loss and lessons that come with life.
