ORCHESTRA RETURNED TO NORMAL OPERATIONS OF 8 PROGRAMS IN 15 CONCERTS ALONG WITH COLLABORATIVE ARTISTIC EXCHANGES AND THE MUSIC OF BLACK COMPOSERS. THE . WITH THE IN-CLASS LESSONS WERE IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE FULL SUMMER CAMPS OFR 150 STUDENTS WERE PROVIDED AND ARTISTS RESIDENCIES WERE TAHEN INTO DALLAS SCHOOLS.THE ORCHESTRA STREAMED AN EARLIER DANCE PRODUCTION AND PRODUCED 4 DANCE LESSON VIDEOS THAT WERE SEEN BY STUDENTS. IN-CLASS LESSONS WERE IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE OF COVID-RELATED SCHOOL CLOSINGS AND VIRTUAL. ED WAS NO LONGER TOLERATED BY STUDENTS, PARENTS AND TEACHERS.
