Court Advocacy

The Court Advocacy Program for abused and neglected children in Denton County is the only program this agency operates. CASA of Denton County recruits, trains and supervises community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the civil district courts. Serving as the guardian ad litem on these cases, CASA volunteers work directly with children and their families and make recommendations to the presiding judge as to what permanent placement would be in the best interest of the child.
