Cancer continues to be a growing health concern in the United States and the latest data shows breast cancer is becoming a critical public health problem in Texas. The Dallas-Fort Worth areas ranks #5 in the United States in areas with the highest rates of late-stage breast cancer diagnosis. Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The Bridge Breast Network strives to reduce the number of late-stage diagnoses from breast cancer by providing education, awareness and access to low or no-cost early detection and treatment services. By increasing education and understanding of health issues facing our community and the availability of services, we hope to encourage action and improve the overall health of individuals.

We launched a Save Our Sisters campaign directed at the African American faith-based community to promote awareness, healthy lifestyle choices and encourage early detection.

We are working with community leaders, the medical community and other non-profit organizations to promote health and wellness.

We partner with four mobile mammography providers to reduce geographic barriers and bring breast health resources to underserved communities.

We continue to reinforce the importance of exercise, nutrition, annual physicals and early detection strategies to improve health outcomes.

The Bridge Breast Network plays a critical role in the fight against breast cancer. In our 26 year history, we have touched the lives of over 150,000 North Texans with breast health education, navigation, access to early detection, navigation to breast cancer treatment, and survivorship services. We are able to achieve our goals due to our dedicated staff, board, donors, network of 300 medical providers and 200 community partners.

The Save Our Sister campaign is reaching more communities and has been expanded from 10 churches to 25 in less than 12 months.

96% of all individuals complete their appointments and treatment plan.

895 of the cancers detected were early stage.
