Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Residents at Hope Haven may participate in the program for up to one year; however, they may only enter once in their lifetime. The program involves a whole person approach and includes on-site counseling and tutoring. Additional courses that are available to residents are those on parenting, self-esteem, hygiene, nutrition, interviewing, resum preparation, and personal budgeting skills. Potential residents may enter the program offered by Hope Haven by contracting to the following: Seek and maintain full-time employment, work toward a G.E.D. if required, remain 100 percent drug and alcohol free, and learn and use the basics of productive, independent living and life skills. We do provide the individuals and families with food, shelter, and clothing, but in addition with provide childcare, medical and dental care, transportation, and aid with employment.
