Giving Grace Food Pantries

Giving Grace Food Pantry provides food, nutrition, and emergency disaster supplies towards better health and food security for at risk and low income families and individuals in Upper and Lower  St. Martin Parish & Jefferson Davis Parish. This includes Stephensville, Cade Coteau Holmes, Catahoula, Stephenville, and Welsh. GGFP distributes emergency assistance to an average of 1,500 individuals monthly. In 2010-2011 a total of 839,954 lbs of 2nd Harvest emergency food commodities, & fresh produce from Giving Grace Gardens was distributed from 2 sites.

Population(s) Served

LHCC has a 3-acre community garden operated and overseen by local farmers and that provides fresh home grown produce distributed to its 3 pantry sites and surrounding communities. Produce includes fresh okra, collards, mustard greens, and cabbages.
