St. Anthony School is an International Baccalaureate World School for the Primary School Programme—one of five authorized in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the only Charter School so designated. St. Anthony is rated by the Texas Education Agency as a “Superior Achievement-Exemplary” school district. No Child Left Behind recognized 100 percent of St. Anthony teachers as “highly qualified.”
And 95 percent of St. Anthony students meet State mandated grade level standards.
We are committed to educating the whole child. In 2017, we met (State of Texas Highest Rating) Standards: State Distinction Awards: Academic Achievement in Reading/ELA, Social Studies, Top 25% Closing The Performance Gap, Postsecondary Readiness Distinction.
The Community Center provides the bridge between school and home and supports the school’s mission by providing quality academic, arts education, social enrichment and physical activities.
The Community Center serves about 500 students and parents from St. Anthony School plus individuals in the surrounding community. It offers year-round intensive, academically focused out-of-school-time programming designed to support academic achievement for students and classes and workshops for parents to develop better skills and to build a solid partnership among parents, students and teachers that places learning first and foremost.
The Community Center offers five programs: Afterschool, Academic Odyssey (which helps at-risk students catch up to grade levels on Saturdays), Creative Minds (for literacy, performing and visual arts instruction) and Parent Resource Academy (to enable parents to support their child's ability to learn and thrive in school and in the community) and Summer Camp (to provide a fun, safe, healthy, enriching environment to close the summer gap).
