Mission

Mission: To engage people in the arts through educational programming, cultural experiences and entertainment. Vision Statement: To integrate the arts into community life. We believe that participating in the arts promotes creativity, entrepreneurship, and spiritual well-being which are essential for community and economic vitality. Our long-term goal is to insure a stable infrastructure and financial security for the organization. As the “heart of the arts” in Winnsboro, we will continue to work with the city and associated organizations to develop Winnsboro as a desirable destination for residents and visitors alike.

Art Exhibitions

Art Exhibitions in the gallery feature artists from all over the state of Texas in a rotating series of shows including both solo and multiple artist presentations in a variety of mediums. An artist's reception for each new exhibition provides an opportunity for the public to mingle with the artists. Nine exciting exhibitions are planned for 2024 including a juried "Cowboy Tales" exhibition with prizes.

Population(s) Served

Conducted 2 art and 1 photography exhibits, & hosted the Northeast Texas writers' Conference. Local high quality artists were given a local venue, art in the community was enhanced and people in the community were introduced to quality art & artists in their midst, and were inspired thereby.

Conducted c. 10 different types of arts, crafts, drama & dancing classes. Life in the community was enriched, relationships were formed, skills were learned & enhanced, children were given a worthwhile activity during afterschool hours.

Conducted 6 different concerts (folk, jazz, orchestra, country), Life in the community was enriched, talented musicians were given a venue and quality audience, children were given a worthwhile activity during after-school hours, the town was made more alive with these musical events.
