Impact 100 empowers women to dramatically improve lives by collectively funding significant grants that make a lasting impact in our community. Our vision is to be a catalyst for creating an equitable and thriving community for all. . Our organizational objective is to increase our IMPACT on the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Indiana community by building a stronger, more sustainable Impact 100 organization and increasing the number of transformational grants we award.

1. Increase member retention by strengthening member engagement and/or participation and by driving sustaining membership.

4. Strengthen the board effectiveness through increased member, technology, and support roles.
5. Secure sufficient funding by increasing sponsorship, grants, other donations, and maximizing current and future revenue streams.

Our 23-woman board of directors is all volunteers focused on delivering against the main mission (empowering women to dramatically improve lives by collectively funding significant grants that make a lasting impact in our community) and actualizing the strategic goals noted herein. Those capabilities and plans include:
-New Member Strategy (including small lunches, coffees and individual outreach);
-Provide Grant Review Teams (GRTs) with tools/scripts ;
-Implement key events to connect to the mission and drive member engagement
-Leverage voting and finalist videos to drive participation;
-Implement Unplugged with Impact summer series to drive member retention and recruitment
Implement DEI learning series to involve members to support the vision of an equitable and thriving community
-Research and Identify new CRM to build greater efficiencies in processes
-Connect to community leaders to drive broader awareness of the mission and vision of Impact 100
-STW calendar with diverse locations, venues, & hostesses;
-Increase social media presence to attract more prospects ;
-EDU Event on Health Disparities
-Host 2-3 Diversity Mixer Events ;
Develop an Equity in Grantmaking tool to be used by Equity Champions and Grant Review Teams
-Continue to build board shadow opportunities;
-Deepen Gov/Finance knowledge and connection to the BOD;
-Document Events & Communications processes;
-Redevelop Newsletter with themes and increased content
-Revisit planned giving process;
-Educate membership via Annual Report;
-Explore revenue generating options;

By the end of 2022, Impact 100 will have contributed more than $6.5 million to local organizations in the focus areas of Culture, Education, Environment Preservation & Recreation, Family, and Health & Wellness. The model has inspired other communities to create their own Impact 100 chapters. Today, there are 53 chapters in 23 states and 2 countries with contributions totaling over $80,000,000. This is an incredible testament to the accomplishment of the general mission of Impact 100.
Impact 100 has received local and national recognition. Impact 100 was a finalist in the nonprofit category for the BBB Torch Award in 2009 and 2010, and won the award in 2019. In 2015, Impact 100 was awarded WCGN’s Spotlight Award for our grant to Easter Seal’s Building Value program, highlighting this transformational investment. In 2020, Impact 100 was awarded the Philanos Spotlight Award for our grant to May We Help highlighting this investment.
Progress against operational core goals will be reviewed quarterly, particularly as relates to being a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization to women throughout our 10-county region.
