Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Birth Parent Services
Services provided to prospective birth parents considering adoption for their child are provided free of charge. The services include are counseling, education, living expenses related to the pregnancy, placement services, educational scholarship opportunity and post-placement support. In the event the birth parent chooses to parent follow-up services and referrals are provided.
Free Consultations
We provide free consultations to prospective adoptive families to discuss the six different avenues of adoption in order to help a prospective adoptive family determine the right path to pursue for their family.
Home Study Services
The first step in the adoption journey for a prospective adoptive family is an adoptive home study, the adoptive home study is an assessment process to determine whether a family has the ability to care for a child in safe nurturing and healthy environment. In addition, it is an education tool used by Adoption & Beyond to prepare an adoptive family to adopt a child.
Post-Adoption/Post-Placement Services
Upon placement of a child with an adoptive family post-adoption/post-placement visits occur to ensure healthy adjustments for everyone. The reports are submitted to the court or country where the adoption occurred.
Domestic Adoption Program
Adoption & Beyond's Domestic Adoption Program helps build families through adoption. Prospective adoptive families work with our agency to be matched with a local expectant parent to whom Adoption & Beyond is providing adoption support and education. The program allows birth parents to find the adoptive family they feel is best for their child.
