What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Home visits and case management
We visit patients with chronic illnesses and disabilities at home. For patients with HIV infection or TB with make sure they keep their appointments, take their medications, and followup as needed. We provide training, materials, education, transportation, and other help as needed.
Pregnant women
This program will provide care for 100 pregnant women during and after their delivery, women who would have received no care. They will be screened and treated for diseases such as hypertension, malaria, and HIV. They and their children will be vaccinated and receive health education and training.
Emergency Care
This program helps to provide transportation, food, medication, and other help so that people living in Burma with life threatening conditions can receive care in hospitals in Thailand.
Health Education
We provide health care to patients and their families with serious and chronic illnesses. We also provide education to teachers and students in local schools and to villagers in their own villages.
Pre-schools
We support teachers and schools for pre-school age children inside Burma. We provide health education and health related materials to the children.
