Mission

The Houston Ear Research Foundation was founded in 1983 as a non-profit 501 (c) (3) public foundation, dedicated to medical research and education of the hearing impaired. Our Foundation is dedicated to medical evaluation, follow-up care, therapy and education for cochlear implant candidates, regardless of ability to pay. We are dedicated to enriching the quality of life for severely to profoundly hearing impaired children and adults by providing the technology of the cochlear implant.
