Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Assistance/Food/Shelter
The Assistance Program includes Emergency Basic Needs for assistance to families in temporary crisis, and Housing Assistance for aiding the homeless and for homeless prevention to keep a family from becoming homeless.
Pediatric Health Center
The mission of The Pediatric Health Center is to provide quality healthcare and education to children from birth through age 18 with barriers to accessing medical services. We provide primary, acute, and preventative care, vision/hearing screenings, immunizations, mental health, asthma care, case management, and referrals.
Senior Services/Meals on Wheels
In order to assist seniors to remain in their own homes, Meals on Wheels provides nutritious meals to 800 home bound seniors and disabled adults each weekday. In addition, nutritional supplements are provided to frail seniors as was prescribed by their physicians. Very low income senior clients received monthly grocery deliveries to supplement their food budgets. In the Young at Heart Senior Center activities are designed to enhance socialization, physical fitness, and general well-being. NAM also provides congregate meals in their Senior Center.
Learning Center
NAM's Learning Center provides instruction to students in Adult Basic Education and GED, English as a Second Language, English Literacy, Computer Training, Vocational Training, and Career Development.
Domestic Violence
The Family Violence Center offers crisis services, peer advocacy, counseling to victims of abuse, and domestic violence education and prevention.
