What we aim to solve
The United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association (USDSA) is a 501(c)(3) national non-profit organization dedicated to the assistance and support of law enforcement, their families, and their communities through equipment, training, End of Watch donations, scholarships, cash grants, and citizen awareness programs. Many law enforcement agencies are underfunded and are not able to afford life-saving, and necessary equipment and training for their departments. USDSA assists by providing free training and equipment, and cash grants to Law Enforcement agencies across the United States. Additionally, USDSA provides support for the families of Law Enforcement with their End of Watch benefit which provides a cash donation the families of Law Enforcement officers who lose their lives in the line of duty, and with their

Safety Equipment Donation Program
USDSA donates much needed safety equipment to smaller, underfunded law enforcement entities at NO CHARGE to the department, including ballistic body armors, preliminary breath testers (PBTs), drug identification kits, emergency belt trauma kits, tactical flashlights, traffic safety vests, first aid kits, and other safety equipment.
National Officer Survival Training Program for Men and Women of Law Enforcement
USDSA offers a highly acclaimed national training program presented FREE of charge to officers across the United States.
Our programs, which have been referred to as “life changing” by attendees, are cutting edge in real world law enforcement training. USDSA’s nationally acclaimed training staff focuses on tactics and concepts which are easily learned and maintained and give officers the flexibility to deal with the countless challenging situations they encounter daily.
Benefit to Families of Law Enforcement Officers Who Perish in the Line of Duty
As of January 1, 2018, our organization is proud to make a $1,000 cash donation to the beneficiary or memorial of any law enforcement officer in the United States who perishes in the line of duty.
Citizen Awareness Program to Encourage & Honor Law Enforcement
USDSA sends well over 100,000 thank you cards a year that we receive from citizens to law enforcement agencies across the U.S., fulfilling our mission to encourage the general public to support and honor our law enforcement and to give them the opportunity to recognize these officers and their sacrifices. These thank you card packages also include life-saving equipment, free of charge, to law enforcement agencies across America.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
United States Deputy Sheriff's Association's goal is to assist Law Enforcement, their families, and their communities through FREE equipment, FREE training, End of Watch benefits, Cash Grants, Scholarships for the Dependent Children of Law Enforcement and Citizen's Awareness which informs the general public about the problems that Law Enforcement face and about the support that officers need from their communities.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
United States Deputy Sheriff's Association sends thousands of pieces of equipment to Law Enforcement agencies across the United States. USDSA also trains hundreds of Law Enforcement Officers in America. Additionally several cash grants are issued to Law Enforcement agencies. Dozens of scholarships for the dependent children of Law Enforcement have been given out. Hundreds of Law Enforcement families have received End of Watch cash donations from USDSA. United States Deputy Sheriff's Association also sends out well over 100,000 thank you cards a year that we receive from patriotic citizens to law enforcement agencies across the United States of America. The cards tell officers that the majority of citizens are still behind them and that they still have the support and appreciation of the community. These cards fulfill USDSA's mission to encourage the general public to support and honor our law enforcement and give our citizens the opportunity of recognizing our law enforcement officers and the sacrifices they, and their families, make for our communities.
To further assist law enforcement, United States Deputy Sheriff's Association donates life-saving equipment with these cards to protect America's Law Enforcement and their communities.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Through the generosity of our donors, USDSA has been assisting Law Enforcement for 25 years through our FREE equipment, FREE training, End of Watch benefits, Cash Grants, Scholarships for the Dependent Children of Law Enforcement and Citizen's Awareness Programs. In 2019 alone, USDSA spent over 4 million dollars assisting Law Enforcement.
