What we aim to solve
The Foundation for Photo/Art in Hospitals is dedicated to creating a shift in the way people view hospitals by providing photographs of colorful, soothing images of nature and landscapes. Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We wish to humanize and bring color and comfort to as many patients in as many hospitals in as many countries in the world as possible in the next years with our beautiful nature photos.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
By increasing our number of Contributing Photographers from around the world, we can increase the number of beautiful nature photos from which hospitals can choose for their facilities. By increasing our funding, we can supply more photos to more hospitals. By increasing our marketing, we can reach more photographers and hospitals.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We already have more than 400 Contributing Photographers who have donated one of their photos to the Foundation. Many of these photographers have also coordinated photo projects in their local hospitals. We are financially stable with funds coming in from individuals, corporations, and foundations/grants so we hope to double the number of photos given to hospitals in the next three years.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
The process of finding needy hospitals, recruiting Contributing Photographers, supplying hospitals with our photos, and fundraising is in place. Since we have no paid staff, more volunteers would be valuable to our organization. We should be marketing our successes more in newsletters and on social media.
