Goals & Strategy

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We raise funds to provide grants that focus primarily (but not necessarily exclusively) on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. There are also grants for reading and critical thinking activities. These activities provide opportunities for students to increase their knowledge and be better prepared for their lives.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategies consist of fundraising to have monies on hand to fund grants.
We host three large fundraisers each year to accomplish this.
We also reach out to the school sites to encourage staff to apply for the grants we have available. This is done through the District's Human Resources Department, networking, and one on one engagement.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
At this time, we fund 80% of the grant applications we receive. Some are competitive, others are not. Annually we budget funds for each grant category. When those funds have been exhausted, we reevaluate our budget--if possible.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
In 2020 we funded $42,512 in Teacher and Student Grants.
