What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Services to Victims of Serious Crimes (SB-1569)
Aids non citizen community members of Fresno County in obtaining domestic violence restraining orders. Also assist non citizen victims in human trafficking and other serious crimes. All victims of crime are assisted with safety planning, the court process, court accompaniment and are given referrals to supportive services provided by CLFA or/and other social service agencies.
Fortaleciendo Familias
In the Fortaleciendo Familias (Strengthening Families) program, our staff works with parents to build parenting skills and better support a child’s learning and healthy development. The program operates in Huron and Mendota, focusing on high priority populations such as monolingual and bilingual Spanish-speaking families of teen parents, parents of children with special needs and families without social support.
Differential Response/Neighborhood Resource Center
This program addresses needs in the the Fresno city zip codes of 93706/93722 area with regards to prevention and intervention for families below the threshold for Child Welfare. Case Managers in this program provide voluntary case management services (DR) to families referred by Child Welfare System (CWS). The program also implements parent education services through two qualified parent educatiors with the goal of strengthening families and communities with a focus on court mandated orders (NRC).
