What we aim to solve
Atwater PAL's main issue we are working to address is obtaining additional property through lease or purchase to expand our free services to youth throughout Atwater and Merced County.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We are continually looking for fun, engaging, and unique fundraisers and community events to support our growing organization.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our board and executive director meet regularly to discuss and plan for Atwater PAL's growth. Our board members, executive director, and community volunteers work diligently year-round to ensure our success. When PAL succeeds, our youth succeed.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We were founded in 1994 and have continually met our goals with the support of our community members, local businesses, and government officials.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Two years ago were operating 14+ programs completely free to the youth of our community. Due to lease agreements ending, we are now operating 5 programs in our community. Our goals are to obtain property through lease and purchase and additional volunteers to grow. Merced County is home to one of the highest poverty rates in the Nation. Ensuring equal access to sports and educational activities for our community's youth is crucial to not only the future success of our children, but the our community as a whole.
